Privacy Policy — Click With The World

Click With The World (www.clickwiththeworld.fun) is a shared global click counter. There are no accounts or sign-ins, and you never need to give us your name or email to click. This policy explains what data is involved and why.

1. What happens when you click

Each click adds +1 to the global total, to your country's total, and to today's total (counted by UTC date). These are aggregate counts only. We also show the country and time of the last few clicks in a live feed; each new click overwrites the oldest entry, so no individual click history is kept. Separately, a random browser ID and a timestamp are saved only to stop rapid automated clicking. This ID is generated in your browser and is not linked to your name, email, or IP address. We do not store your IP address, name, or email with any click.

2. How we detect your country

Your approximate country comes from our hosting provider, Vercel, based on your IP address. We do not store your IP address. If Vercel cannot provide it, your browser asks a third-party service, ipwho.is, which receives your IP address and returns a country code. We only use the country code.

3. Data stored in your browser

We set no cookies ourselves. We use your browser's local storage for:

Your detected country is kept in session storage and is cleared when you close the tab.

If you use the birthday tool on the Time page, the name (if you give one) and the date and time of birth you enter are stored only in your browser's local storage and are never transmitted to us or anyone else. The "Clear my birthday" button removes them. Share text and images are created in your browser and leave it only when you choose to share them.

The Firebase SDK also keeps a security token and basic technical data (such as SDK version and dates) in your browser. You can clear all of this at any time through your browser settings.

4. Security and anti-abuse

Every click is verified by Firebase App Check, using Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise, to block bots and automated clicking; a short per-browser rate limit also stops rapid repeat clicks, and clicks that fail verification are rejected. No system is perfect. reCAPTCHA Enterprise runs on every page that loads the live counter: the Home, Milestones and Leaderboard pages, and the embeddable widget (/embed), including the preview on our Embed page. Google may collect device and browser signals and use cookies for this. The Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply. We do not keep our own log of failed security checks.

5. Advertising

We use Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to show ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. Google's advertising cookies let it and its partners show ads based on your visits across the internet. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google's Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com) or at www.aboutads.info.

6. Contact and partner forms

When you use the contact form, your name, email, and message are delivered to us through Web3Forms. The partner inquiry form works the same way, with the brand name, website, contact email, milestone choice, and any offer you enter. We use them only to reply to you.

7. Tips

The "Tip Us" button uses Ko-fi. Payments are handled entirely by Ko-fi, and we never see your card or payment details.

8. Other services

The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard short-lived request logs. The live counter runs on Google Firebase. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. Each of these services receives basic connection data, such as your IP address, when your browser loads them. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies or store personal information.

9. Embed widget

Websites that embed our counter load it from www.clickwiththeworld.fun. The widget uses Firebase, App Check/reCAPTCHA, and, if needed, the ipwho.is country lookup. It shows no ads and loads no Ko-fi or Google Fonts content.

10. Third-party privacy policies

Google (Firebase, reCAPTCHA, AdSense, Fonts): policies.google.com/privacy. Also Vercel, Ko-fi, Web3Forms, and ipwho.is; each publishes its own privacy policy on its website.

11. Affiliate Links

Our Rewards page contains affiliate links through partner networks such as EarnKaro and INRDeals that link to stores like Flipkart. When you click one of these links, the store or affiliate network may set cookies or use similar tracking to record that the visit came from Click With The World, so we may earn a small commission if you make a purchase, at no extra cost to you. We do not receive your personal or payment details from these purchases. Their use of data is governed by their own privacy policies.

12. Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

13. Your choices

Because we have no accounts, we usually cannot link data to you personally. To reset your browser ID, clear your browser storage. For any privacy question or request, email hello@clickwiththeworld.fun.

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date above will show the latest version.
